About the Role:

Tim Sign & Lighting Service Inc is looking for a skilled Sign Installer to join our team in Meriden, CT! This is a hands-on role where you'll bring brands to life by installing and maintaining a variety of signage and lighting systems. Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain commercial signs and lighting systems at customer locations

Operate aerial lifts, bucket trucks, and other equipment to access elevated installation sites

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and installation diagrams

Perform electrical connections and wiring for illuminated signage

Ensure all installations meet safety codes, regulations, and quality standards

Communicate professionally with customers on-site during installations and service calls

Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in proper working condition

Requirements:

Prior experience in sign installation, electrical work, or a related trade preferred

Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lift equipment

Basic electrical knowledge and ability to perform wiring tasks safely

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL a plus

Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor in various weather conditions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with good communication skills
