SIMULATEs mission is to develop nutrition technology that advances natures codebase. SIMULATEs first product, NUGGS, is a chicken nugget simulation made from plant inputs. Since NUGGS launched in the Summer of 2019, NUGGS has evolved into the fastest growing chicken nugget on the planet. SIMULATE is currently developing new nutrition technologies, some that will launch later in the year.

AS OUR TECHNOLOGY LEAD, YOU WILL:

• Work directly with CEO/COO to refine the technical vision, develop product roadmap, and utilize multi-million dollar annual budget to bring vision to life
• Build and manage a team of scientists, researchers, product developers and engineers
• Set goals in support of the technical vision, enabling rapid product launches
• Serve as the standard bearer for excellence in product quality
• Foster an environment of rapid iteration, obsession and thinking through first principles
• Manage Manufacturing Lead to ensure product production can scale rapidly
• Work with CX function to ensure that our platform and products incorporate user feedback
• Identify companies/IP to acquire to expedite advancement of SIMULATE technology and team

REQUIREMENTS

• BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology
• Previous experience at early stage startup is greatly preferred
• Previous experience building and managing a team
• Must be scrappy, willing to be an individual contributor, as well as a manager
• Passion and love for your work
• Experience building software and/or hackathon attendance is a plus
