    Job Description

    DUTIES:  Develop and produce technical training courses, educational content, and informational applications for web/eLearning delivery in accordance with policies and guidelines. Collaborate with SMEs and other project team members on development, revision, and production. Program training content for eLearning/web course development applications. Edit material for functionality and operational integrity to ensure error-free operation. Plan, analyze, and design simple to complex e-learning materials using, but not limited to, Authorware© software, other course development applications, and related tools. Develop, revise, and maintain current and future distance-learning training products, courses, and materials. Work with and in the development of simple computer graphics; conceptualizing computer graphics and animations; layout and placement of graphics and animation in courseware; incorporating graphics into electronic training materials; and utilizing desktop publishing concepts and methods. Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement website software code such as, but not limited to, T-SQL©, P-SQL©, ADO©, HTML, DHTML, CSS, DOMs, CGI©, ASP©, Cold Fusion©, JavaScript©, JScript©, VBScript©, and Java©. Supports Information Technology (IT) projects, conforming to customer branding requirements. Responsible for interface implementation.  

    SKILLS:  High School diploma or GED required. At least three (3) years (within the last five (5) years) of practical, recognizable computer-related experience in computer-based course development with experience and familiarity with SCORM© and AICC© standards (experience within the last two (2) years required); writing, editing and proofreading, emphasizing quality and clarity, of a variety of documents for use in web applications; developing and implementing web interfaces, graphics and layouts; creating and managing web content, internet, and intranet sites; and quality assurance of web design projects, including web usability, accessibility, and testing. 

     Must have software experience to include: Flash animation, various web technologies including HTML and CSS design, database integration, Document Object Model of browsers, and MS Word. Must have strong computer skills and ability to stay updated on emerging technologies. Able to properly selection and use of the English language and grammar.

     Must be able to possess and maintain a Public Trust Security clearance.
