Rebuild Project Manager/Estimator
SKY Restoration DKI is looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Rebuild Project Manager/Estimator. This individual will excel if they are organized, detail-oriented can maintain superior customer service standards, and has excellent communication skills within our company and with our clients.
Overview: This position is responsible for managing the oversight and administration of the project cycle for construction restoration projects by providing direction and coordination of all field activities related to the installation, as well as for coordinated subcontractors. Prepare accurate and profitable job estimates, convert estimates into successful bids, and plan and manage the resultant projects to successful completion. To facilitate all field change orders and materials, prepare contract documents, project estimates, and supply lists, and work closely with the accounting department to ensure proper billing on projects.
General Duties
Uses industry software to estimate residential and commercial repair projects from water, fire, wind, and mold restoration projects.
Estimates and manages construction and restoration projects
Bids project with enough detail to provide accurate budgets and purchase orders
Supervises, monitors, and revises all activities associated with the projects and its successful completion by bringing the project in or below budget
Monitors job cost reports for assigned projects
Prepares and helps determine schedules for manpower utilization and materials delivered to the site
Tracks and monitors progress while correcting and mitigating any deviations
Creates and updates project schedules
Manages vendor installations, scopes of work, and contract adherence
Assists in controlling excessive costs and waste throughout each project
Helps to ensure that all assigned personnel are thoroughly trained in their duties and responsibilities, including safety precautions
Meets regularly with any assigned personnel to ensure proper information flow and adherence to stated goals and objectives
Demonstrates good judgment in investigating problems and making decisions
Respect and maintain the confidentiality of company, client, and personnel information
Works with the General Manager regarding bid document requirements

Qualifications
Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Five years of professional experience in the construction/restoration industry in progressively challenging roles, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity or administrative capacity
Associate degree in Management, Project Management, or Construction Management from an accredited college or university
Possession of, or ability to obtain an appropriate, valid Kentucky state driver’s license
WRT and ASD certifications, preferred
Knowledge of industry software: Xactimate, Contractor Connection, PSA, Xactimate Analysis, and other similar programs
Computer literate with knowledge and experience with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Salary: $50,000.00 per year, may be adjusted based on experience, + commission pay structure in addition based on employee performance
