JOB DESCRIPTION

SKY Restoration DKI is a local restoration company looking for a qualified Production Technicianin Water/Fire/Mold Restoration to assist production leads in jobs according to our industry-leading standards. The Restoration Technician is responsible for assisting the Lead Technician in restoration/mitigation and cleaning jobs. Pay is dependent on experience and industry certifications. This position requires a person who is self-motivated and follows directions both written and verbal. It is crucial that we find people who are team players to add to our staff. This is an AT WILL position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

Perform production processes as scheduled and to company standards.

Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.

Must follow verbal and written directions in a timely manner.

Proficient use of small hand tools and equipment.

ABILITIES

Time management, teamwork, multi-tasking, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; must be proficient in reading and writing the English language

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING/EDUCATION GUIDELINES

Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Effective written and oral communication

Basic math skills

Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred

High school diploma/GED preferred but not required

Must be available to be on call

Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time

Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects

Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals

Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary(Travel accommodations for out-of-state work including lodging and per diem are supplied by the company)

Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug test subject to applicable law

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
