    Position Summary:

    Provide excellent service to all guests at Slater’s 50/50

    EXPECTED START DATE IS JULY 13TH

    ** Major Responsibilities:**

    Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Greet and welcome guests – be the “face” of Slater’s 50/50.
    • Walk guests to their table or take their name for the waiting list.
    • Bussing and Pre-Bussing Tables
    • Explain Slater’s 50/50 menus, specifically the 50/50 Burger.
    • Quote accurate wait times and be sure each guest waiting gets a pager.
    • Control the pace of the seating, rotate server sections to optimize service.
    • Answer all phone calls promptly and properly.
    • Take all to-go orders accurately and promptly.
    • Deliver bill to to-go guests, collect payments, and be responsible for turning payments over to Slater’s 50/50.
    • Be completely competent with POS system.
    • Control the use of promotions, compensations, and discounts with each of their guests, accurately recording and submitting all correct receipts.
    • Be able to build rapport with guests, have a constant smile, keep a positive attitude, and take the initiative to stay busy and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.
    • Provide guests with any and all items needed while visiting Slater’s 50/50.
    • Keep assigned section and entire work area neat and clean including bussing tables, wiping tables and chairs, sweeping/cleaning floors and rugs.
    • Make sure all menus are wiped down, free of spots or stains and are in good shape over-all.
    • Make sure all entry doors are clean, free of debris, and inviting.
    • Keep the men’s/women’s restrooms clean as appropriate by gender.
    • Attempt to limit problems and liability related to guests’ excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading guests to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons.
    • Understand all dining area and kitchen service procedures.
    • Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
    • Clock in and out as required by your shift and take breaks as required by policy.
    • Be aware of, and abide by all Slater’s 50/50 policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
    • Report to the General Manager and other supervisors as directed.
    • Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
    • Have extensive knowledge of current menu.
    • Perform any other job duties as assigned.

    Essential Requirements:

    • Adequate skills and experience to perform job duties
    • Food handlers card
    • Able to stand for 8 hours - walks and stands during entire shift.
    • Able to communicate with team members
