QUALIFICATION:
Experience: At least 1 year of current experience in an acute care setting. Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills. ALL SLP licenses will expire December 31, 2025. A traveler will need to renew their license before the end of the year

General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS & Oregon License Other Required certs for all SLP? Do they prefer or require CCC-SLP &/or CCC-A credential? Common diagnosis / Types of patients - 65% peds
Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient? Primarily outpatients. 5% acute care which is adult- 95% outpatient and 65% of that is pediatrics What areas are they required to cover= Acute and Outpatient Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties - Peds experience (not a must be must have an interest in learning Peds) SLP Manager/Supervisor Rehab Aides: SLA's Rehab aids - No speech assists; they do have aide that will help if needed Shifts & Scheduling Four 10-hr days. Friday off (Manager is very flexible with scheduling) Weekend Requirement No Holiday Requirement No Scrub Color/Dress Code Business casual.
