We are looking for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the school year.

Hourly Rate Range: $33.00 - $42.00 per hour
Responsibilities include:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing therapy services to students with communication disorders in individual, small group, and classroom settings.
- Implement therapy plans developed by the supervising SLP, targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication goals.
- Prepare and organize instructional materials and therapy activities to support student progress.
- Record accurate and detailed data on student performance and assist in preparing progress reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to all ethical and professional standards.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents under the supervision of the SLP to ensure consistent support across educational environments.
- Follow all Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and IDEA guidelines in delivering services.
- Participate in supervision meetings, training sessions, and school team meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant License issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
- Must work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
