    Job Title: Supported Living Services (SLS) Instructor

    Employer: Vision Life

    Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

    Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time (varies by assignment)

    Location: Sacramento, CA and Surrounding Areas

    Position Summary: Vision Life is seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional individuals to provide Supported Living Services (SLS) to adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. SLS Instructors work directly with clients in their homes and communities, supporting them in building independence, improving their quality of life, and maintaining health and safety. Key Responsibilities:

    Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to clients based on their individual service needs.

    Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

    Support clients with attending medical, dental, or mental health appointments and community-based activities.

    Encourage development of independent living skills such as budgeting, personal hygiene, organization, cooking, and cleaning.

    Promote socialization and help clients build positive relationships in the community.

    Maintain clear, accurate documentation and complete daily notes, incident reports, and behavior tracking (if applicable).

    Communicate effectively with clients, family members, conservators, and other support team members.

    Follow all individualized support plans, behavioral protocols, and health and safety procedures.

    Qualifications:

    Must be at least 18 years of age

    High school diploma or equivalent required

    Must pass a background check, TB test, and Physical

    Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required

    Previous experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus

    Strong communication, patience, and time-management skills

    CPR/First Aid certification
