The SLS Supervisor will assure the quality of services provided to the clients, oversee the day-to-day operations, maintain staff schedules, and assist in the development of staff. The SLS Supervisor will serve as the first point of contact for all clients, their families, and service coordinators within their assigned area. The SLS Supervisor will also monitor and report changes in the consumer’s progress, staff productivity, and other related factors to the Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee work of the assigned team of PSIs.
Address minor discipline problems with team members; refer more serious cases to the SLS Manager and Human Resources.
Assist in the training and development of new and current staff.
Create and maintain staff schedules and cover shifts as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist Human Resources in interviewing potential new PSIs, staff training, and terminations.
Maintain documentation of staff productivity; i.e. attendance, communication, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure documentation by PSIs is accurate and complete, collect data, and submit it to the Manager.
Maintain consistent communication with all clients, their families, and service coordinators.
Attend interdisciplinary team meetings, staff training, and, if applicable, meetings with the BCBA and San Diego Regional Center.
Monitor the health and safety of all individuals.
Responsive to emergency situations regardless of the time or day; reports and assists in the time of emergency. Weekends and holidays are no exception and are required.
Reports all possible cases of abuse, neglect, or endangerment to the appropriate supervisor; complies with all mandated reporter legal requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
ABA Background Preferred
DSP 1 and DSP 2
Administrators Certification
RBT Certification
Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
Required Licenses/Certifications:
Valid CA Driver’s License
DOJ Background Check
First Aid/CPR Certification
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification (if needed)
Physical Requirements:
Must pass Physical and TB Test
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Clients are located in Ramona, El Cajon, and Poway
