    Unisoft International, Inc. dba SMA Technologies is a rapidly growing software company headquartered in North Houston has an immediate need for a Technical Training Developer. This role will support the development team and our customers on writing, editing, updating, improving and presenting software technical training.

    Position objective:

    Unlock the potential of our clients and staff by reducing the learning curve of SMA Technologies’ products. Build and maintain training courses which empower clients and reduce the workload of our Support department.

    Key responsibilities:

    Prepare, maintain, and innovate training courses

    o Overall design

    o Content

    o Objectives

    o Sequence

    o Methods

    Release updated training materials as a part of each software release

    Build new training courses

    Lead product training for SMA Technologies employees

    o Train customer facing employees on new features and products

    o Train new employees on SMA Technologies products

    Attend training courses to identify areas of improvement

    o Fill in for the consultant delivering the training if needed

    Create and maintain OpCon certification classes and exams

    Competencies:

    Excellent written and oral communication

    Excellent leadership and project management skills

    Skilled presenter

    Graphic and page layout

    Qualifications:

    Education

    Required: Bachelor’s Degree

    Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

    Experience

    Required: Either 3 years of experience developing training materials or 3 years of OpCon experience

    Preferred: Either 5 years of experience developing training materials or 5 yeas of OpCon experience

    Certifications

    Required: N/A

    Preferred: N/A

    Work Environment:

    Work primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, walking, infrequent lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
