    Unisoft International, Inc. dba SMA Technologies is a rapidly growing software company headquartered in North Houston that has an immediate need for a Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for driving growth through cohesive messaging brought to life across a variety of brand touchpoints.

    Position objective:

    The Marketing Manager role at SMA Technologies is critical for executing campaigns, projects and events. This role is responsible for driving growth through cohesive messaging brought to life across a variety of brand touchpoints. A strong history managing projects is essential for this role.

    The Marketing Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the relationship between SMA Technologies and its target customers through customer outreach and retention strategies to create one integrated brand experience. Working with both agency and internal partners, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of marketing channels, including but not limited to: Email, Blogs, Conferences, Tradeshows, Direct Mail, Paid Search, Organic Search (SEO), Affiliate, Display Advertising and Social Media. In addition, the Manager will work closely with a complex network of stakeholders including sales, service, support, product leaders, local market leadership, agencies, IT, operations, and finance.

    Candidates for this position should be competitive, team players who love winning not just for themselves but also as a team. Deep knowledge of all types of B2B direct response and brand awareness tactics are a must have. The ability to effectively measure and communicate on-going performance against KPIs and understand traffic, conversion, lead generation, and opportunities will lead to success in this role. The position will be able to showcase efforts through the aggregation and analysis of data prepared for senior leadership as well as for the company at large.

The maintenance and implementation of several new projects, campaigns and events will directly impact our ability to further our brand awareness and reach within the technology and workload automation space.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Manage marketing campaign execution

    Work collaboratively with product teams, account management, sales, business development to ensure timely execution of campaigns

    Leverage project management software (Monday.com) and ensure team is clear on timeline to provide cohesive, smart, flawless deliverables

    Utilize reporting to examine campaign activity for problems or opportunities

    Project management

    Implement and oversee work done internally and / or externally

    Acts as a liaison with external service providers such as, event suppliers, agencies, trade bodies or design firms

    Ensure all project details are known, communicated and delivered on time

    Roll up your sleeves to ensure even the tiniest of details are met and executed on

    Event coordination

    Oversee the logistics and coordination of events, seminars, conferences and tradeshows and provide on-site support at events where necessary

    Ensure that communications priorities are front and center in event planning and execution

    Ensure SMA Technologies’ brand message is clear, salient and stands out in a crowd

    Sales collateral creation, support and execution

    Work with Business Development, Account and Sales Executives to ensure their marketing tools are sharp and up to date

    Measure effectiveness of tools and suggest improvements

    Know and follow industry best practices

    Work with Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing Director and Marketing Manager on strategic initiatives to grow the company

    Deeply understand the Marketing Plan and execute work accordingly

    Explore, examine and introduce innovative new techniques, programs, formats and channels that can improve campaign performance and/or ROI

    Research and understand competitors in the marketplace including positioning/messaging, pricing and advantages/disadvantages as far as advertising programs/launches are concerned

    Monitor web sites for internal and external audiences

    All other duties as assigned

    Competencies

    3+ years marketing and/or experience for mid-size to large business or agency in direct response marketing business

    Ability to work and support cross-functional teams to drive shared results

    At least 3 years of experience with project management experience required

    Experience developing and executing marketing initiatives

    Strong business acumen with ability to think strategically and innovatively

    Proficiency in Omniture, Google Analytics and other web metric systems

    Strong with SalesForce and SalesForce Pardot

    Ability to analyze, understand and present technical product specifications.

    Must have strong writing and speaking skills to present complex concepts in a clear manner

    Tech savvy – must be able to utilize and learn new technology quickly

    Must be efficiency minded – must possess the desire to get faster and smarter through iteration

    Must be highly competitive – driven by winning

    Strong knowledge and ability to read, report and react against marketing KPIs

    A penchant for a fast paced, productive work environment

    Ensure compliance with company policy and procedure as part of SMA’s ISO 27001:2013 Certification program

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    Minimum of a BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration or related field, MBA preferred. Passionate commitment to lifelong learning.

    Experience

    3+ years B2B marketing and/or experience for mid-size to large business in direct response marketing business

    Strong knowledge and ability to read, report and react against marketing KPIs

    Ability to work and support cross-functional teams to drive shared results

    Experience developing and executing marketing initiatives

    Strongly KPI oriented: acquisition, conversion, ROI

    Exceptional understanding of all aspects of marketing and analytics, especially paid search, natural search, display, and retargeting.

    Strong business acumen with ability to think strategically and innovatively.

    Strong proficiency in Omniture, Google Analytics and other web metric systems.

    Strong experience with Salesforce and SaleForce Pardot required

    Travel requirements: 15%
