Position Description

Shine Management's client is seeking a Software Developer who will research, design, develop, and/or modify software systems. As a Software Developer, you will also present ideas for systems improvements, conduct impact analysis for software changes, produce detailed specifications, and write software code.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Working closely with business analysts, designers, and subject-matter experts to understand functional requirements
• Conducting unit tests and documents findings
• Supporting formal testing before code is promoted to production
• Adhering to program configuration change control standards
• Understanding the structure and functionality of the COTS applications
• Extending applications by utilizing applicable application tools
• Maintaining knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application

Required Skills

Candidate must possess skills in the following areas:

• DevOps CI/CD pipeline principles and SecDevOps best practices
• Java, Node.js, React, Angular, JavaScript, Bash, Spring, and Swagger
• Elasticsearch
• MySQL RDS
• Commercial Cloud Services (C2S)
• Apache Ant and Tomcat
• Java Database Connectivity (JDBC)
• Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, and SQL
• Regex
• JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
• Linux CentOS, GitHub, Jenkins, and the DevOps process

Education

Candidate must have one of the following:

• 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
• 10 Years of job related experience and Associates degree
• 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
• 6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
• 4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate

Desired Skills

Experience with Katalon and/or Selenium

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
