Responsibilities: • Install, alter, and repair sheet metal products and equipment ducts and hoods for HVAC systems • Utilizes blueprints, work orders, and/or schematics to safely construct specified structures and develop additional sketches as needed • Selects the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in projects according to specifications • Ensure safety is a priority on the job by coordinating required shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation • Measure, mark dimensions, and layout material to be installed using tools such as scribes, rulers, calculators, and squares • Develops and maintains records for projects and repairs • Inspect product quality and installation to ensure specifications are followed • Install products according to specifications and building codes Qualifications: • Be capable of interpreting blueprints and schematics to comprehend product features. • Expertly use the equipment and machinery linked with sheet metal work. • Manufacture sheet metal tasks with faultlessness and precision. • Be able to perform duties with limited guidance • Display outstanding organizational and time-management abilities. • Have the capacity to carry out manual and repetitive jobs that include standing/walking for long periods of time, squatting, flexing, scaling, sliding, hauling, pushing, hefting, and toting. • Possess the ability to connect with clients and co-workers efficiently. • Demonstrate punctuality and presence at work. Compensation: $22+ DOE
