We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to become an integral part of our team! Responsibilities: • Working in a setting that emphasizes teamwork and safety while adhering to all company/site safety policies and guidelines • Ability to perform duties assigned by supervisor in a safe, efficient manner with/without accommodation including repairs and routine maintenance on rotating machinery powered by electricity, such as pumps, conveying systems, pipes, heat exchangers, and power transmissions while keeping the supervisor informed of any issues or setbacks • Must be proficient in using both basic and sophisticated heavy industrial machinery, including forklifts, scissors lifts, basket trucks, and skid loaders. Uses hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments to repair and maintain rotating and stationary machinery and equipment. Ability to use hand tools, power tools (such as hand grinders, saws, impact wrenches, drill presses, and hydraulic pullers), and rigging tools on a daily basis as required. Additionally, execute welding, when needed. • Use of hand and power tools, precision alignment, rigging, pipefitting, welding, blueprint reading, schematics, mathematics, and preventive/predictive maintenance. • Repair and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment by constructing preventive maintenance standards such as lubricating, monitoring operations, measuring wear, and realigning components to prevent breakdown repairs and minimize downtime. • Bend, reach, stoop, stand and/or walk for extended periods. Ability to work from elevated areas such as ladders, scaffolding, and platforms with fall protection equipment. • Maintain a positive collaborative working relationship with customers and coworkers to support in the planning and development of the company's goals. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent education required; degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred. • 2-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment • Must have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities. • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs outside of normal business hours • Applicants will be well-versed in motor controls, drive systems, relay logic troubleshooting, and PLC troubleshooting. Compensation: $22.50 - $28 hourly
