Responsibilities: This position is primarily working with installing applications in the commercial and industrial sectors for SMSI, particularly supermarket refrigeration installation. • Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair refrigeration line sets (copper) in commercial and industrial settings • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment • Assisting coworkers and team members to achieve accurate, timely results • Perform installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial • Performing installation of HVAC-related equipment complying with service standards and work instructions as well as customers' requirements • Understanding of the principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating • Ability to use hand and power tools associated with the HVAC field • Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working condition Qualifications: • Knowledge of mechanical systems, components, tools, and materials related to the HVAC/R industry • Familiarity with reading and understanding blueprints and schematics • Ability to travel for job-related assignments • Physical strength and stamina needed to complete job requirements • Proven mechanical skills and aptitude • Ability to differentiate between HVAC/R components and systems Compensation: $22+ DOE
