    MARKETING SPECIALIST, ORANGE COUNTRY, CA

    SNAPSHOT:

    Looking for a chance to join a world-class ophthalmic medical device company in Orange County experiencing explosive growth? In this fast-track, permanent role, you’ll be Under the direction of the Global Marketing Manager. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for Commercialization marketing support, Market Research and Reporting, Event Planning, the Marketing Budget, and the development and executiof print and digital marketing strategies, including video production management. Our client offers an excellent comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation and sick leave, and a 401(k) plan!

    IMMEDIATE FAST-TRACK OPPORTUNITY FOR A MARKETING SPECIALIST IN ORANGE COUNTY, CA,WHO POSSESSES:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing role. Experience in the medical device industry a plus.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in business marketing, advertising, public relations, or relevant field.

    • Proven graphic design skills through samples of work (i.e., brochures, ads, event support materials, logos, etc.); excellent sense of composition, color, and typography; executes with high accuracy.

    • Strong social skills for representing the company in public, during media events and at conferences.

    • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office programs, especially Word, Power Point, Photoshop, InDesign, and social media platforms; proficiency with Google Analytics and web analysis tools.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Proofread all marketing/sales materials and presentations to ensure all external documents are “perfect”.

    • Work with the sales team to provide the resources needed to achieve revenue goals.

    • Provide creative support for development of promotional materials for marketing, sales, education, and training activities and ensure compliance with corporate and product brand style guide(s).

    • Assist with the development and execution of print and digital marketing strategies, including video production management.

    • Provide materials (articles, videos, etc.) for the company and product websites.

    • Serve as “liaison” to commercial sites by providing and replenishing educational and marketing support.

    • Coordinate website updates for the commercial and clinical/medical affairs websites.

    • Marketing Research and Reporting

    • Provide monthly Social Media and Website activity reports to ensure return on investment and notable trends are communicated regularly to internal stakeholders.

    • Manage domain names (purchase and renewal), common law trademarks and quarterly reporting.

    • Event Planning

    • Planning and managing trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings by identifying, coordinating, and assembling requirements, developing assignments and schedules, coordinating mailing lists and establishing contacts.

    • Identify and collaborate with vendors as appropriate.

    • Marketing Budget

    • Manage expenses to maintain the marketing budget parameters. Marketing Materials Approval Process

    • Manage the internal document control (DCC) process for all marketing documents and ensure release of approved materials to field and internal teams as appropriate.
