    About the Job

Our Client, an innovative healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician to join their team in the Anaheim area. This is a role built around your freedom—you set your own hours, starting and ending each day entirely on your own terms. In this full-time position, you'll visit skilled nursing facilities to provide medical management for both skilled and custodial patients, working Monday through Friday with the option to participate in weekend and night call rotation. It's an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable populations—all while enjoying the kind of schedule autonomy that's rare in medicine.

    Who You Are

The ideal candidate is a compassionate and patient-centered individual with a strong background in geriatric, rehabilitative, or internal medicine. You thrive in a teaching role, supervising and mentoring new graduates. You are comfortable managing patients in a nursing home setting and have experience with managing the length of stay for patients. You are also open and willing to work with health plans, demonstrating a comfort level that is more important than the number of years of experience.

Our Client is a healthcare revolutionizer, committed to providing high-value care to the most fragile, high-needs patients and their families. With partnerships across PCP medical groups, SNF chains, and various physician private practices and NP-based groups, they are dedicated to building loyal relationships with the communities they serve.

    Your Role

As a Physician, your duties will include conducting daily rounds, managing patient care, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. You will also respond to calls and pages from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. If functioning as a Supervising Physician, you will supervise and manage nurse practitioners.

    How You Qualify

The qualifications for this role include an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and a minimum of 3 years of experience helping geriatric, rehabilitative, or internal medicine. Current State of California medical license, DEA certificate, and CPR certification are required. Managed care experience is preferred, and excellent EMR documentation skills are essential.
