We are currently searching for a highly motivated and dedicated Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our multidisciplinary team.

    JOB DESCRIPTION: Behavior Technicians will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They are responsible for providing direct behavioral therapy to individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. The position entails implementing Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) programs, as written by the BCBA. BTs will be responsible for teaching life-skills and remediating skill deficits as well as working to eliminate problem behaviors. Behavior Technicians will work primarily in the client's home for about 20 hours per week.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma
    • Ability to pass Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Exam (see bacb.com for more info)
    • ability to complete training within 2 weeks and receive Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license
    • Ability to pass background check
    • Reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, and a valid driver's license
    • Able to work weekday afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays
    • Ability to interact in a positive and collegial manner with fellow staff members, families and clients
    • Experience with Microsoft Word/PPT/Excel
    • Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds

    PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Enrolled in a Bachelors degree program (Psychology, Education, or a related field)
    • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field
    • Enrollment in a Master's degree program seeking BCBA certification
    • Experience implementing ABA programs
    • 1 year of previous work experience with individuals with developmental delays
