    We are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented professional to join our Government Sales team. As a Government Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and increasing our revenue streams within the government sector. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships and closing deals with government agencies, departments, and organizations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful government sales, a deep understanding of government procurement processes, and excellent negotiation skills.

    Responsibilities

    Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target and engage government clients, targeting local government agencies at the City and County levels.

    Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within government organizations.

    Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation activities.

    Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and materials tailored to government clients.

    Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our GLASS Marketplace platforms.

    Lead the entire sales process from prospecting and initial contact to contract negotiation and closing deals.

    Understand and navigate government procurement processes, including RFPs, RFIs, and other contract vehicles.

    Work closely with the product development team to gather insights and feedback from government clients to enhance our platform's offerings.

    Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the government sector.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Government / Public Sector, or a related field.

    5 years of successful sales experience in the government sector, preferably in selling software or technology solutions.

    Strong network of contacts within government agencies and organizations.

    Deep understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.

    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

    Results-driven with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.

    Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

    Experience with CRM software for managing leads, opportunities, and sales pipelines.
