CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

SOF Intelligence Solutions, LLC is seeking a professional Graphic Artist for a Courseware Development contract, located at Offutt AFB, NE.  The Graphic Artist must be self-motivated, able to present technical information, problem solve, and multi-task; possess exceptional oral and written communications, to include technical communication; and experience in Adobe illustrator, Flash and Photoshop. The Graphic Artist will be tasked to turn concept or idea into well thought out design with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. The Graphic Artist may be tasked to work within a team environment or completely independent and will be able to manage and execute multiple tasks simultaneously. The Graphic Artist will provide support to the on-site Project Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and coordinate illustrations, graphs, charts, and images through the use of computer graphics systems, to include electronic 3-dimensional effects and other advanced animation techniques.
• Demonstrate ability to take projects from conception or data to final production with minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment.
• Coordinates directly with subject matter experts in creating original ideas for illustrations, graphs, charts, and images.
• Demonstrate ability to innovate by experimenting with new methods and ideas to improve quality and quantity of work produced, to include basic understanding of graphic usage in Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality environment.
• Plan, design and prepare graphic representations to include video special effects and animated computer graphics and photography for a variety of production elements.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Flash, and Photoshop. 
• Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of visual communications.
• Understands page composition, color theory, and dynamics of Web  design to work with Education Technicians and Instructors.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Two years experience utilizing various software applications, including, but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, Freehand, Visio, InDesign, and MS Office Suite is desired but not required.
• Associates Degree in Graphic Design or other related field is desired but not required.
• Experience working with graphic for an education program is desired but not required.
• Experience working with Department of Defense is desired but not required.

MILITARY INSTALLATION ACCESS: This position resides on a military installation. Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass. Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including an FBI fingerprint check.
