Warren Pediatrics, centrally located in West Hartford, CT, is seeking an experienced Pediatric APRN who would like to be an integral part of a small, independent, family-friendly, outpatient pediatric medical practice. This position is for a professional APRN looking to provide support to the physician for the achievement of optimal well-being of children in consideration of their family, community, and diverse backgrounds.   

Responsibilities:

·        Demonstrates excellence in the carrying out diagnoses, interpretation of test results, and treatment of common pediatric illnesses.

·        Demonstrates proficiency in performing routine developmental screenings, health maintenance care, school physical examinations, and childhood immunizations.

·        Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills: Communicates with patients and families how to take care of their children and protect their health as well as providing treatment plans.

·        Administers medication using age-appropriate guidelines

·        Ability to work independently

·        EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited Advanced Nurse Practitioner program required.
