TITLE: ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER (DIRECT HIRE)

LOCATION: MILPITAS/SAN JOSE CA

We are hiring a Project Manager for a well-established commercial/industrial/multi-family electrical contractor! The ideal candidate will plan and supervise field labor activities including determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment needs, and work schedule. It is their responsibility to make sure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in a way that safely follows federal, state, and local agency regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Has to have experience working for a C-10 electrical contractor.

· Manage multiple projects from start to finish.

· Develop and maintain business relationships with subcontractors, clients, general contractors, and crews.

· Attend client meetings, respond to client inquiries, and provide advice.

· Estimate projects and review contracts for accuracy of scope.

· Oversee submittals, RFI’s, project schedules, and all correspondence with general contractors and obtain necessary permits.

· Coordinate and purchase material and equipment for projects as needed.

· Track costs, budgets, and oversee WIP.

· Quote and negotiate contract change orders.

· Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any problems that might arise on the projects.

· Work with a team to complete projects within established deadlines/budgets while meeting projected profit objectives.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

· 5+ years of related construction project management experience.

· Estimation experience using TBD.

· Design/Build and Plan & Spec project experience.

· Advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite.

· Open to working outside regular hours as needed.

· Construction field experience preferred.

· Excellent written and verbal skills.

COMPENSATION, BENEFITS AND PERKS:

PAY RANGE BETWEEN $135,000 TO $160,000 ANNUALLY

Besides a competitive salary (DOE) plus an annual performance-based bonus, additional benefits include: medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401k with company matching capped at 4%; company vehicle or vehicle allowance and gas card; paid time off and holidays, and additional team outings and events throughout the year.
