SOS Business Solutions is seeking a remote, part-time HR Consultant to join their team. The HR Consultant will be responsible for a wide range of HR responsibilities including full life cycle recruiting, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure, and building strong relationship with our clients.
The ideal candidate:
has broad yet deep HR Generalist experience
is client-centric
is able to listen and address complex issues to fit our client's industry and organizational philosophies
is a strategic thinker and proactive problem solver
The ideal candidate should (among other things) be able to:
conduct audits
coach managers
address performance issues
recruit
write job descriptions
draft policies and handbooks
interpret and apply wage and hour laws, and more.
To be considered for this position, you should:
4+ years of general HR experience
have strong computing skills/aptitude (Office, HRIS/Payroll systems)
have excellent verbal and written communication skills
have a four-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or the equivalent.
have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
have at lest a BA/BS in Human Resources
have PHR or SHRM-CP certification (preferred not required)
