SOS Personnel is URGENTLY hiring for Education Technology Professionals. A technology services company that provides Technology Instruction & IT support and services to schools.

If you like working with Children, and like exploring exciting new technology to introduce it into your classes, then this is the job for you.

We are looking to hire a reliable, polished full-time employee to fill the position of Technology Specialist & STEM Teacher. The ideal candidate will either be :

a seasoned IT individual with some teaching experience

or

a seasoned teacher with minimal IT/technology experience

Requirements:

Ability and experience working with PK-8th grade.

Having prior Technology Teaching experience at this grade level would also be a big plus.

Having basic IT certifications like A+ would be a big plus.

Teaching certification is not required for this posting, but tech savvy certified teachers are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants that have IT experience are also highly preferred.

Associates/Bachelor degrees in an IT field preferred.

Passing an New Jersey and Federal FBI background check with fingerprinting is non-negotiable.

Reliable transportation is required.

While the teaching curriculum will be available, this is a very flexible position where you would have a lot of control over your lesson planning and curriculum. You'll also get to use/play with our STEM resource library, which includes 3D printers, makey makey kits, piper computer kits, and much more. We will also provide on-the-job training.

Must be able to keep several tasks in mind and prioritize them.

Must also be willing to work with school staff to adjust priorities to meet the needs of the administration and faculty.

Will be a "people person", reliable, upbeat, ready and excited to meet new challenges every day.

Will be a polished, well-groomed professional.

Must be comfortable teaching students and training staff at all levels of technical literacy.

Must be patient and has the ability to explain complicated themes in everyday language.

Will also will be able to handle the day to day IT issues and upkeep of the school.
