    Job Description

    We are looking for a SOX Analyst to join our Finance team.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Understanding IDB business processes and control environment considering generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory compliance for SOX
    • Performing SOX walkthroughs and documenting SOX process and control activities via flowcharts, narratives, matrices and test scripts, etc.
    • Executing tests of controls, summarizing and communicating the results / findings to key stakeholders
    • Ensuring appropriate evidence is obtained. Review and provide feedback to control owners on the adequacy and sufficiency of control documentation.
    • Assisting in the ongoing remediation of SOX related issues. Remediate deficiencies through collaboration with process and control owners
    • Liaise with the external/internal auditors and assist with coordinating requests/deliverables
    • Collaborating with external consultants to ensure sufficient documentation and adequate design and testing of controls
    • Maintaining status tracker of assigned testing
    • Build strong relationships with process owners and control performers, Internal audit team, and external auditors
    • Managing multiple competing priorities and meet strict deadlines

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • CPA or CIA preferred, or working towards exam/passed at least one section of the exam
    • 2 or more years in public accounting and/or private industry experience with strong knowledge of internal controls
    • Previous experience with SOX
    • Clear understanding of audit methodologies
    • Ability to operate independently
    • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving (with strong attention to detail) skills.
    • Strong verbal, written communication and collaboration skills
    • Effective project management skills
    • Experience working with various levels of management to drive adherence to policies and deadlines

    Compensation

    The expected annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $125,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
