Sozo Children is looking for a full-time Retail Associate. The Retail Associate is responsible for customer service, cashier duties, stocking inventory and meeting sales goals. The Retail Associate will assist management in opening and closing the store as scheduled.
It is the duty of the Retail Associate to hold to the mission, vision, and core values of Sozo Children.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers with a smile as they enter the store
- Provide cashier support as scheduled
- Cleaning and restocking the sales floor throughout the day
- Places merchandise in proper areas on sales floor
- Organizes areas on sales floor as directed
- Responsible for maintaining a neat, orderly, and clean register area at all times
- Assists donors with donation drop off and donation process
- Assists production team with sorting donations as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education :
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency Certificate, or GED
Experience:
- Experience in retail and/or thrift store experience
- Customer service experience
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand at workstation for long periods of time
- Ability to work at least 2 Saturdays per month
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to resolve issues in a calm and efficient manner
- Servant leader
- Quick learner and enjoys the challenge of taking on new assignments
- Willingness to be a team player
- Functional computer knowledge, including email
