Job Summary We are a family run local small business going on 25 years of serving San Diego with exceptional transportation. We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious SPAB Bus Driver to join our team! We have multiple school contracts and utilize SPAB drivers throughout the year. This is flexible and we do have summer contracts available as well. As the SPAB Bus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the SPAB bus while adhering to a schedule and ensuring your passengers’ well-being. The ideal candidate has a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and previous experience as a bus driver or has completed bus driver training. If you have an impeccable driving record, high safety standards, and enjoy being around children, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Pick up and drop off students at designated in the work order

Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations

Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly

Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus in a safe manner

Engage with students in a friendly and courteous manner

Qualifications

CDL permit with school bus and passenger endorsement

Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic citations

Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Ability to follow GPS directions and have a hands free device
