    ABOUT THE COMPANY

    SPANG has partnered with Rework Work to hire an Engagement Manager. This is a brand-new role being added to the team directly supporting customer engagement activities and reporting directly to the Chief Diversity Strategist. Rework Work is experiencing substantial growth and is creating this new position to facilitate this growth by being the primary point of contact for all clients and community members in conjunction with a technical project manager. This position is flexible and qualifies for a technology stipend.

     

    Rework Work aims to make a huge difference in the world, and they do it by employing fun and engaging educational workshops to cultivate an understanding within their clientele—corporate America and higher education—that they each play a role in making that difference. Their community provides the resources needed to affect change and the Engagement Manager is the primary point of contact for clients and community members alike; this person must be extroverted and comfortable in the public spotlight.

     

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Interact daily with clients in the community as the visible face of the DEI Community.
    • Work directly with executive leaders and understand and anticipate their needs.
    • Communicate solution-oriented services to clients clearly and create proposals.
    • Moderate community forums by sourcing content to drive valuable threads and guide clients to relevant sections or threads to meet their needs.
    • Advocate client users by making data-driven recommendations regarding content- and style-based opportunities based on content-usage analysis.

    DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES

    • Engage with prospects and participate in client intake meetings.
    • Understand client needs and draft solution-oriented proposals.
    • Draft statements of work for clients after proposals are accepted.
    • Communicate with clients through email and forums—provide answers to pressing questions about our solutions and resources.

    YOUR FIT IN OUR ORGANIZATION

    • Report directly to the Chief Diversity Strategist
    • Partner with the Technical Project Manager to manage the community—may be assisted by a Customer Support Professional.

    TECHNICAL APTITUDE

    • Tech Savvy: Understand online functionality and bring knowledge that elevates digital presence.
    • Digital Communities: Prior experience with online communities is a big plus!
    • Technologies Like: Infusionsoft, Zoho, Ontraport, Mailchimp, AccessAlly, MemberVault, and LearnDash LMS
    • Technical Experience: CRM, LMS, email marketing, and payment processing systems.

    EDUCATION

    • Studies in higher education (some college courses) are a plus!

    COMPENSATION: $25-$30 HOURLY

    SCHEDULE: 5 HOURS PER DAY; 4 DAYS PER WEEK
