SPATCO Energy Solutions has been the leader in the fueling infrastructure industry since 1935. We provide a complete line of equipment and services for storing, pumping, mixing and measuring petroleum and industrial liquids. Our customers come from a variety of industries including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets.

The services we provide to our customers and the community is essential and we are growing!  SPATCO currently operates 19 branches with a dedicated training facility in North Carolina and growing service satellites throughout the Southeast. Our goal is to provide top notch customer service. 

Major Function and Scope

• Act as company’s SAP technical lead in all SAP functional areas including FI/CO, SD, PS, SM and MM.

• Serve as primary engagement leader to represent company in SAP upgrade with third party implementation specialist.

• Partner with the user community to ensure successful and timely user acceptance testing.

• Proactively work with functional area experts to ensure best practices.

• Prepare detailed specifications from which programs are designed, programmed, tested and documented.

• Configuration and testing of system in accordance with business requirements.

• Champion the use of SAP standard functionality, SAP standard best business practices and procedures.

• Participate in user and functional requirements gathering with functional business units and external consultants.

• Support end users and business owners by handling questions, requests, and troubleshooting potential problems. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering or other related field

• Minimum of 3 years of SAP experience

• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 preferred

• Project Management skills and experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with some of the following SAP Modules

o Inventory Management (IM)

o Purchasing (MM-Pur)

o Materials Management (MM)

o Sales and Distribution (SD)

o Finance and Controlling (FI / CO)

o Project Systems (PS)

o Service Management (SM)

• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required
