    Here at SPD, we are working with a health care facility that is the only level II trauma center in western North Carolina. It is a designated Magnet facility for nursing excellence and a top 50 Cardiovascular hospital.

    Your Job Responsibilities as the Director CVICU and Cardiac Stepdown RN:

    • Directs area operations, programs, and activities consistently with the hospitals objectives and in alignment with the strategic plan.
    • Functions may be accomplished by other leaders, but the director retains responsibility and accountability.
    • The director promotes research and integrates evidence-based practice into clinical, operational, and leadership processes.
    • Integrates clinical, human resources, and financial data to decision making.
    • Ensures compliance with regulatory and professional standards.

    MUST HAVE Education AND Qualification:

    • Masters degree in Nursing or BSN with MBA/MHA or other healthcare related degree.
    • National Nurse Leadership Certification required within one year of accepting the role.
    • Three years of progressive leadership positions. Prefer five years of leadership.
    • North Carolina RN license or compact license.
    • BLS required.

    Compensation AND Benefits:

    • Salary: $120k-$140k, ($118k is mid-point) depending on years of experience.
    • Relo and sign on bonus on a case-by-case basis.
    • Up to 15% annual leadership incentive bonus.
    • Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.
    • PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.
