We are helping them find a right candidate who will contribute to the smooth operation of the unit.

Your Job Responsibilities as the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Supervisor:

• Demonstrates clinical competency to practice within the unit Scope of Care.
• You will perform all critical care and diagnostic procedures utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases on patients of all ages.
• Communicates effectively with staff, peers, supervisors, ancillary department, internal and external customers.
• Utilizes quality improvement as basis to improve unit/departmental process.
• Pursues professional growth and development.
  
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required

Qualifications and Education for the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Supervisor:

• Associates degree is respiratory therapy.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and licensure through the Texas Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Required one year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting or rehab setting.
• One year of experience working in an ED; ICU/CCU; PICU; NICU preferred.
• BLS healthcare provider required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE preferred.

Compensation and Benefits for the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Supervisor:

• Salary: $23.96-$33.55, depends on experience.
