Your Job Responsibilities as the Labor & Delivery RN:- Assesses plans and evaluates patient care needs.
- Carries out physician orders.
- Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs.
- Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- Instructs and educates patients and families.
- Assesses and coordinates patient' s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Provides age and culturally appropriate care.
- Orients and mentors new staff members.
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Job Qualifications of the Labor & Delivery RN:- ADN reqired, BSN preferred.
- Must have 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery in an acute care setting
- ICU experience of at least years.
Compensation and Benefits of the Labor & Delivery RN:- Salary: $28.64 - $42.95; depending on years of experience.
- Shift differential nights $3.75/hr. Weekends $4.20/hr.
- Relo assistance up to $3k sign on up to $7.5k (with a 2 year commitment).
- Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.
