    Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical in Lewisville, Texaslooking to work a full time, nights, direct hire opportunity?

     Here at SPD, we are teaming up with a  Magnet recognized facility. It is a leader in the DFW market for quality metrics, and Nursing satisfaction performance according to the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators.

    We are helping them find a right candidate who will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

    Your Job Responsibilities as the Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN):

    • Assesses, plans, and evaluates patient care needs.
    • Carries out physician orders.
    • Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, monitors vital signs.
    • Provides post-anesthesia recovery care for the patient.
    • Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
    • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
    • Instructs and educates patients and families.
    • Assesses and coordinates patient' s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
    Job Qualifications of the Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN):
    • Current Texas State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (Compact license is accepted but TX State RN license required within 30 days of hire).
    • BSN preferred. Will consider ADN candidate if candidate has several years of Med-Surg experience, must be enrolled for BSN within 6 months of hire and complete program within 36 months(3yrs). All ADN offers have to be approved by CNO.
    • Current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association.
    • Must have 1 year of recent acute Medical-Surgical experience to be considered.
    • 20 beds in unit.
    Compensation and Benefits of the Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN):
    • Salary: $28.64-$42.95 (20+ years); depending on years of experience.
    • Shift Differential: Nights $3.75 per hr-Weekend $4.30 per hr.
    • Relocation up to $3, 000, sign on up to $7, 500.
    • Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.
    • PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.
