Job Responsibilities as the Progressive Care Unit RN:

• In collaboration with patient, patient s family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN is responsible for assessing the nursing care needs for patients.
• Planning interventions.
• Evaluating outcomes of care.
• RN s are responsible for providing care which is appropriate to the age specific (adolescent, adult and geriatric patients), and supervises and directs the staff and unit activities for the assigned shift.

• BSN Required.
• Must have a minimum of one year experience as an RN in a high acuity PCU.
• TX RN licensure or RN compact state license.
• BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) required.
• 36 bed unit multisystem progressive unit mixed acuity.
• Unit always full capacity Fast Paced Environment.
• Nurse to patient ratio 4: 1.

• Salary: $29.44-$42.95; depending on years of experience.
• Relocation assistance $3k (with a 2-year commitment), sign on $10k (with a 2-year commitment).
• Shift Differentials: nights $3.75 weekends $4.20
