    Position Summary:

    SPENGA Omaha is seeking a Head General Manager who is responsible for the performance and success of the studio. This unique concept delivers cardio, strength, and flexibility training into every session. Position Summary: We're searching for a dynamic Head of Studio General Manager to lead our team. Someone who is a positive, energetic and efficient individual who is motivated by sales, believes in changing lives through fitness, warmly welcomes and takes care of members. The General Manager is responsible and accountable for the performance and success of the SPENGA studio. The job encompasses all aspects of running the day-to-day operations of the SPENGA studio, including implementing policies, managing / motivating the staff, being the face of the studio who warmly welcomes, and takes care of members, developing and promoting the SPENGA brand; all to keep members happy and the business healthy meeting its goals.

    Job duties & Responsibilities:

    General:

    Manage all day-to-day operations ensuring mutually agreed upon goals are met or exceeded

    Keep abreast of activities and developments in the exercise community in the Omaha area

    Be the face of SPENGA Omaha through outreach in the community, such as Chamber of Commerce, local event participation, etc.

    Manage all operational aspects of the business including but not limited to: ordering supplies, equipment maintenance, scheduling, cleanliness

    Submit accurate and timely reports

    Handle correspondence including member suggestions and complaints

    As a SPENGA ambassador, managers will promote, sell, and add to the SPENGA culture in and out of the studio

    Develop a high energy culture through contests and incentive-based motivation

    Ensure studio is clean, maintained and operationally sound

    Perform such other tasks and duties that may be required or assigned

    Management of Staff and Members:

    The GM will be responsible for meeting and or exceeding membership goals

    Retain and increase member participation

    Lead, coach/mentor, motivate, schedule and manage (evaluate, discipline, and terminate) all staff representing SPENGA Omaha

    Ensure highest level of customer service and utilize sound decision making when needed

    Marketing, Promotions and Events:

    Plan and promote special in-studio and community events through outreach and business partnerships

    Responsible for local marketing, media and Public Relations activity through suppliers and personal contacts

    Strong management and leadership skills and leads by example

    Ability to create a successful environment for staff and members

    Fitness industry or high- ends goods & services background preferred

    Willingness to learn. Must be able to adapt to our exciting new fitness philosophy

    Motivation and drive

    Ability to create fun, exciting and rewarding experiences for our members

    looking for successful and motivated people who want to improve themselves and their career

    2-3 years sales experience

    2-3 years management and leadership experience overseeing all aspects of staff management

    Strong work ethic, integrity and professional

    Strong passion for health and fitness necessary and industry experience preferred

    Computer skills

    Flexible workday including some early mornings, evenings and weekends as needed
