Hartwig Staffing is partnered with a great company in Oklahoma City that is looking to add a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to their team. Pay is $50-70/hour. This is a 1+ year contract position.

Skills You’ll Need:

• 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA

• Expertise in SQL Server versions 2016 and newer

• Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization

• Experience with backup and recovery strategies, high availability, and disaster recovery

• Proficiency in T-SQL, SSIS, and SQL Server Agent

• Familiarity with database security, permissions, and compliance

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and documentation abilities

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and maintain the performance, integrity, and security of SQL Server databases

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across multiple environments

• Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans

• Design and optimize stored procedures, queries, and indexes

• Support development teams with database changes, deployments, and best practices

• Automate routine tasks using scripts or tools to improve efficiency

• Ensure data integrity and availability through regular maintenance and monitoring

• Collaborate with IT and business teams to support new initiatives and ensure scalability
