Job Description

We are looking to add an in-house attorney position to our growing and entrepreneurial company.  The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of wide-ranging transactional real estate and general corporate experience as responsibilities will primarily focus on real estate, transactional, corporate, and corporate governance matters concerning a diverse portfolio of assets and business interests.  This person will report directly to our General Counsel and be officed in our Mt. Juliet, TN office.  Licensed to practice in TN, or ability to become licensed to practice in TN, is required.    

Main responsibilities:

• Support the acquisition and disposition of commercial and multi-family residential real estate properties, including negotiating and drafting acquisition and sales documents, leasing documents, construction and design documents, development agreements, and loan documents involving a variety of sources of financing
• Support the closing and post-closing processes
• Monitor laws and regulations affecting real estate investment organizations
• Collaborate with leadership and other stakeholders on a wide variety of strategic and tactical decision-making
• Additional project and corporate management as assigned
