GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

• The Commerce Cloud Developer is responsible for managing, maintaining and growing our digital capabilities which include front and backend components, integrations and customizations of our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) platform. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enabling and enhancing digital transformation in the enterprise and will have a proven track record implementing solutions on SFCC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and implement key requirements using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware). Collaborate with business teams to create an aesthetically pleasing user experience
• Design and document technical solutions
• Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing technology solutions including integrations with other enterprise software solutions
• Provide strong testing and debugging skills including unit, system, integration and performance testing
• Estimate and plan for development tasks within an agile sprint
• Leverage creative problem-solving skills to help the team bring projects in below budget and within deadlines
• Provide suggestions and recommendations to keep our internal coding standards up to date help to identify areas for efficiency across disciplines
• Utilize monitoring solutions to ensure all systems are operation optimally
• Inspire team members to deliver our mission and vision, demonstrate the passion for the business and give people a reason to believe anything is possible
• Develop self and support others development to achieve full potential

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with industry standard technologies, such as Web Services, JSON and XML
• Experience with MVC and Object-Oriented Programming concepts
• Experience with front-end technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML5
• Experience with responsive design (Bootstrap)
• Working knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Experience working on an agile team

• Ability to effectively communicate with others

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: RELATED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of professional web development experience and 2+ years of professional Salesforce Commerce Cloud development experience
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer Certification
• 2+ years of experience working within an Agile development methodology
• Enthusiasm for web development and staying up to date with new technologies and standards
• Bachelor' s degree in programming-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
