    Job Description

    In this role, you have the opportunity to participate in the development of innovative consoles solutions in Image Guided Therapy Devices business. Key focus area is to support the Product Development and Life Cycle Management in the Consoles R&D Hardware Engineering department

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • You are responsible for Design and development of medical devices. Coordinate and drive activities that are focused on the development of product concepts through Manufacturing and Production
    • Prepare and communicate project overviews and status reports. Responsible for actively schedule, organize, and lead project meetings & design reviews to present ideas, concepts, results, and status
    • Creating and documenting electrical designs (e.g. schematics, drawings, test results, data analyses, PCB design etc.)
    • Build prototypes for feasibility, functionality, and performance assessments
    • Prepare design documents, requirements documents, architecture documents, technical reports, presentations, as required

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Use of analog design capabilities for mixed signal, analog filtering and analog to digital conversion of small amplitude signal coming/going to ultrasound piezoelectric sensors or pressure devices
    • Experience in low leakage power supply/stage design
    • Use of critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
    • Complex problem solving capabilities by evaluating options and implementing solutions
    • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, team oriented, new product development environment
    • Experience in release and managing design artifacts in a PLM system (Windchill)
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
    • 5 years+ experience with a minimum of 2 years product development experience (ideally in medical devices, or regulated environment)
    • Experience in schematic capture
    • Experience working with PCB layout design engineers
    • Expertise in designing to comply with EMC and ESD requirements
    • High reliability designs, DFT, DFM, (medical devices preferred)
    • High-speed, low-power, high-density designs, (medical devices preferred)
    • Design verification test development, execution, report generation
