HERE IS HOW YOU WOULD HELP BENEFIT THE TEAM:

I. JOB FUNCTION SUMMARY

A. Purchase products or services that meet the needs of SSI Fabricated

in a timely and cost-effective manner in support of operations.

II. JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Issue and maintains Purchase Orders in support of the production requirements

B. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials

C. Analyze and decrease inventory levels as needed to improve inventory turns

D. Identify vendors to support SSI Fabricated growth initiatives

E. Identify and implement cost saving opportunities

F. Maintain on-time delivery dates and ensure quality requirements are met by the vendor

G. Work closely with planning and production to achieve on-time delivery goals

H. Assure all necessary documents contain the correct information required

I. Follow ISO 9000 procedures and flow down to vendors as needed

H. Strive to achieve the best pricing and delivery without

compromising quality.

III. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A. Three (3) years experience in purchasing PV&F / HVAC

B. One (1) to two (2) years of college

C. Three (3) years experience in manufacturing

D. Knowledge of MIS systems

E. Experience in multiple commodity purchases
