Jacksonville, FL - Chassis/Container Mechanic/Welder and Top Pick Operator needed to for a growing family owned Shipping Container Depot

Compensation: Pay is based on skills / experience. Employment type: Full-time

Responsibilities will include (depending on experience level)

Repairs and required preventive maintenance of chassis and containers Lifting containers on and off of chassis using top pick/container handler Inspect, trouble shoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipment Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepares safety documents required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations Interpret work orders * Replace chassis / trailer tires when needed. Repair, replace, or weld defective parts, components or systems (Tires, Brakes, Wheel Seals. etc) Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulations Inspect shipping containers for damage and perform repairs (ex: welding and/or floor replacements) Pay is based on skills / experience. Requirements / Qualifications:

Experience in PMs and repairs * Must be able to lift 50lbs Must own your own tools (Basic set of Hand Tools) Must have a Valid Driver's License
