RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop custom backend services to support digital advertising integrations across
- Advise internal technology teams on ad technology integration methods and processes
- Support and debug ad delivery and performance issues
- Collaborate with product technology and sales teams across the organization
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape
- Help evaluate vendors and third-party solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation on applications, processes, and workflow
- Take on a leadership role in maximizing development workflow, with the goal of enabling team productivity as well as delivery of product roadmap on time and on budget
- Work on special projects and other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 5 years of full-stack engineering experience with a particular focus on backend JavaScript
- Experience working with advertising technology and integrations
- Strong ability to teach oneself new skills with minimal hand-holding
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and navigate multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work extended hours as needed, including some evenings and weekends, and to be on-call for emergencies
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written - with a reputation for building and maintaining relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively and/or interact with the other staff, executives, colleagues, and vendors
