    We are seeking an energetic, creative, and responsible STEAM Camp Counselor to join our team! As a counselor, your top priority will be ensuring the safety and well-being of campers while guiding them through engaging hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Design, and Math) experiences.

    You will help facilitate daily activities, support students as they design and build projects, and foster a fun, collaborative learning environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, loves creativity and technology, and is excited to inspire curiosity through hands-on exploration and making.

    Responsibilities:

    Support and facilitate hands-on STEAM activities, design challenges, and collaborative projects

    Lead games, team-building activities, and creative learning experiences

    Assist in creating and maintaining daily and weekly camp schedules tailored to camper age groups and interests

    Supervise campers and safely escort them between activities and learning stations

    Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and positive teamwork among campers

    Set up, organize, maintain, and clean up materials, tools, and camp equipment

    Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

    Communicate professionally with parents and camp staff as needed

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience working with children as a camp counselor, teacher assistant, educator, or similar role preferred

    Interest in STEAM education, making, technology, art, or hands-on learning environments

    Strong organizational skills and a high level of responsibility

    Excellent communication and teamwork skills

    First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

    Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for extended periods, lifting materials, and actively participating in camp activities
