5-Month Contract

You will be a part of the MHE Implementation team. The MHE Implementation team is responsible for onsite construction, contractor management and implementation of all components, machines and MHE systems for Customer Fulfilment Centers (CFCs).

Qualifications

The scope of the role includes:

· Receiving all incoming shipments to the warehouse, manually performing data entry into a Google Suite Sheet on what has been received, and reporting missing components to the supply chain team

· Developing a more automated process of receiving inventory to the site in the construction phase

· Will work with the installation contractor to perform quality checks on incoming components and raise issues with damaged parts to the manufacturer

· Will be inside of the warehouse 95% of the time

· Will work with the storage installer and MHE installers on site to ensure the schedule and all quality standards are maintained

· Will develop new standards and processes to improve our installation of storage and MHE equipment

Your role in the team is to:

· Guide the local installer on how to receive material and perform the quality inspections on the components

· Escalate supply chain issues with the Supply Chain team and ensure the installation contractor has all necessary components on site to keep progressing with installation in accordance with the engineering drawings

· Coordinate where in the warehouse to stage the incoming materials

· Understand all critical incoming components to the construction site and escalate any delays with the larger team

· Manually input all incoming deliveries into the Google Suite Tracking Spreadsheets

· Will be very familiar with the Google Suite of products (Drive, Docs, Photos, etc.)

· Will work on various projects improving or creating standards for storage and/or MHE installation

· Close working with internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering Operations, Business Project Managers, and Engineering Supply Chain) and external stakeholders to ensure a successful delivery of project and handover to Go-Live.

· Communication across teams and to project stakeholders ensuring expectations are managed.

· Ensuring programs stay on plan, budget and meet specification.

· Risk identification and mitigation, anticipating supply chain shortages.

· Continually validating on-site components against the contractors’ build rates to ensure there are no shortages in parts.

· Take ownership of supply chain issues, seeing them through to resolution.

· Working with planning colleagues to maintain realization programs in accordance with a changing supply chain schedule.

· Provide ad hoc project support post-handover in relation to spare parts components and key supply chain vendors

General Requirements

· Maintain a good and up to date understanding of all current CFC processes and systems requirements.

· Follow agreed methodology, complete any documentation as required.

· Seek value engineering opportunities across all solutions.

· Regularly review business requirements, learnings, the marketplace, existing vendors etc. to identify and recommend potential streams of work which may be of benefit to the company or its clients.

· Help develop any new solutions required in order to satisfy the scope of a project.

· Coordinate with the Engineering Teams to ensure they maintain and supply up to date Engineering Standards.

· Looking for 1-2 years of experience, energy and attitude - tenacity - able to figure it out. Experience with logistics & truckers - getting things from point A to point B. Transportation guidelines, shipments, supply chain. 1 week training
