Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team at our facility located in Birmingham, AL, 35222. As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing various devices and instruments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical troubleshooting skills and a High School / GED qualification to contribute to our team and help ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of devices and instruments.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repair.
- Replace faulty components and perform necessary adjustments to restore functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and propose solutions for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used and work performed.
- Ensure all repaired devices and instruments meet quality standards before returning them to service.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE at least 2 years of maintenance, assembly, or related aptitude/experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience in repairing electronic devices or instruments is a plus.
