Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance & Facilities Technician to join our team at our facility located in Chattanooga, TN, 37410. As a technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing various maintenance tasks and troubleshooting electrical and HVAC systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electrical troubleshooting skills and HVAC experience to contribute to the efficient functioning of our facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and repair or replace faulty components
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs or maintenance
- Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance plans
Qualifications
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with HVAC systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance practices and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor as required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
