STG is a full service political, digital, and public affairs consulting firm. Our team of experienced professionals has waged and won dozens of high-profile, high stakes campaigns for candidates, coalitions and causes – and we do the same thing for our clients. We are good people doing good things and we are looking for a stellar Digital Ad Specialist to support our team on a short-term contract December 1-31.
How You'll Make an Impact
- You will support one or more of STG's campaign teams, providing direction and mentoring to a team of communicators, content creators, and digital strategists
- You will manage paid media projects to deliver exceptional service and results
- You will coordinate with vendors including designers, publishers, and sales representatives
- You will provide valuable insights to clients, producing detailed reports on campaign performance and recommendations for future work
What Makes You a Great Fit
- You bring insights and expertise developed from experience working on an electoral campaign, public affairs or digital strategy firm, or advocacy organization
- You have 1-2 election cycles of professional experience that reflects an increase in team management responsibilities and leadership capacity
- You possess a keen understanding of the evolving digital media landscape
- You have an eye for compelling creative and graphic design
- You believe a successful communications plan prioritizes digital strategy and you're comfortable managing projects that include social media content creation, web development, and graphic design
- You demonstrate flexibility to accommodate change and thrive amid ambiguity in a fast-paced work environment
- You have exceptional written and oral communications skills
- You have strong self-discipline and time management skills
- You are passionate about progressive causes including (but not limited to) energy and the environment, public lands, health care, and social justice
- You have a good sense of humor
- You are kind, friendly, and don't take yourself too seriously
This is a temporary position for the month of December, with the potential for renewals into next year.
