  • Responsibilities

    Use of a scanning device to scan barcodes to match pieces and insert into envelopes, Set up and operate small machines, i.e. cutter, folder, strapper, duplo booklet maker, as management requires according to specification on the job ticket as well as maintaining quality standards of jobs produced by these machines.  Ensure each and every order is produced to specification while meeting delivery deadlines.

    Performs manual and clerical duties related to the preparation and shipment of customer samples, components and finished products utilizing Fed Ex, UPS, USPS or other similar carriers. Maintain necessary files and documentation. Utilizes small hand tools and operates scales, metering, ink jetting and tabbing equipment etc. Primarily uses hand trucks to move materials around.

    RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Read printed picking orders and stock labels to correctly fulfill orders within established policies and procedures.
    • Use basic computer, mathematics, scaling and shipping skills to maintain inventory, pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
    • Keep all customer and company inventory in a clean, organized and secured state.
    • Correctly, neatly and securely pack and ship all orders.
    • Work with management, sales and customer service to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
    • Work in conjunction with other departments and employees to meet customer demands.
    • Adhere to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules, and hearing and eye protection policies.
    • Occasionally operate automated mailing and tabbing equipment.
    • Perform other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

    Required Skills

    • Basic USPS addressing regulations.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, twist, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
    • Able to work overtime when necessary.

    Required Experience

    High School Diploma or GED preferred.

    1+ years experience in a printing environment.
