To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:
- Perform first/last piece inspection approvals on production parts.
- Verify incoming and in process material meets the customer requirements.
- Completing inspection related documents.
- Understands how to use measurement tools and equipment.
- Inspects parts for quality defects. Measures part to ensure they meet specifications
- Perform in-process inspections per inspection worksheet, gage instructions and other customer requirements.
- Collect SPC data as required.
- Perform GR & R Studies
- Interpret customer drawings (GD&T).
- Verify quality of sort and rework operations. (Set-up sorts, gather information from sorts).
- Active Team participant in problem-solving activities.
- Support of Non-Conforming System Proficiency .
- LMI usage and mastering.
- Ability to use computers in area of quality alerts, setting up sorts and gather information from sorts.
- Ability to take calls from customers and set-up sorts, document communication and notify proper personnel.
- Support IATF-16949 and ISO 14001 standards and procedures.
- Champions IATF 16949 conformance in department.
This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Quality team and reports to the Quality Supervisor.
